Product Info

Harmonize your problem solving skills with the Cast Violon metal puzzle. This beautifully crafted puzzle from Hanayama Huzzle requires you to use your creativity and perseverance to disassemble and reassemble it. With its intricate design and challenging solution, this puzzle is a symphony of fun and intellect.

Patented in America in 1965, this puzzle was originally created by Joseph L. Litle. "The idea to make this puzzle came to me after playing with a wooden copy built for me by my close, but now deceased friend, Tadao Muroi". The proportions have been changed considerably from the original plan in this new version. Your objective is to separate the violin into its three pieces and then to reassemble it.

A big favorite of mine. Once I was thinking about ideas for puzzles and thought if Borromean rings could be turned into a puzzle. This one is truly a Borromean puzzle! And the key step in the solution is very neat and specific. Very enjoyable, fun to play it, rewarding solution. Took me more than it should have to find it. But I didn't mind exploring how the pieces intervene with each other.

My favorite puzzles are the ones I can't immediately solve. And this is one of those puzzles. Took a few sessions to get it apart, and I haven't yet been able to reassemble it. My problem was not paying attention to how the three pieces were aligned when they separated. The pieces are surprisingly heavy and move very smoothly over each other and is quite fun to play with. I think I need to look up the solution to this one!

Very beautiful puzzle. I love the feel of it, the weight and the color. Very high quality. The art theme is very nice too. It is not very difficult to get apart or back together. Lvl 2 is a faire estimate of its difficulty.

A nice art-themed puzzle. Does not break or wear easily and can be disassembled without too much pain. But assembling it is an entirely different and much more difficult process, especially if the solver forgot how _exactly_ it came apart. It gets 4 stars because the assembled position is not clearly defined.

This is a good little puzzle. Not too hard to get apart, but not trivial either. My one complaint is that getting it back together is a bit of a pain.

This puzzle is not too hard but is a lot of fun to play with. Well named as the action of the bow is important.
