As with every Constantin puzzle it's very well crafted, the sliders move smoothly and intriguing to look at. Leave this puzzle on a coffee table and it will draw people in and make them pick it up! It may seem tricky to solve at first, but once you understand the mechanics it's a lot of fun to finish. Just don't forget where you are or you might backtrack. This is the 4x4 version of a series that ranges from 2x2 - 10x10!
This is one hard puzzle! I think it takes about 300 moves, if you don't make a mistake. I have to admit to resorting to a youtube video and tediously logging the moves on a spreadsheet!
Awesome puzzle ! It may look tricky at first, but once you understand the functioning, it is really amuzing to work with. The pieces slide easily, the construct is simple yet beautiful.
