A simple and fun dovetail block in which you must separate the two pieces. Looks can be deceiving. Once you know the puzzle, the solution is simple. Think outside the box.

Love dovetail puzzles.. but the 2 pieces doesn’t match in size. So 2 of the red sides are larger than the natural wood and sticking out on the sides and the other 2 is smaller. Really dissapointed
oooooooo
I was really looking forward to solving the puzzle, but when I got in the mail and opened it, I realized that it had already been solved. The whole point of the puzzle is to separate the colored and classic wood sides and they were separated when I first put my hands on them. Kind of disappointed. (SOLUTION AHEAD, BE AWARE) You see, the puzzle includes kind of a smack technique to move the magnetic ball that is interrupting the sliding movement that sets the colored side free, and so I guess it was solved due to constant slamming throughout the shipping process. Disappointed.
Really nice looking puzzle, good quality and nice to have on a desk or a shelf. The solution can be surprising and is not easy to find if you don't know the "trick". I would have appreciate more space inside it to store things but oh well...
I like this puzzle more than other similar. By looking at the two pieces, you can easily deduct that they cannot be taken apart by pushing them away from each other upwards and downwards. Then, you might come up with the idea how the two pieces should be separated, but still, you will find one obstacle on the way. And as it is hidden and you have no idea how to overcome it, you will soon be banging your head on the puzzle. For me, it was a real "deja vu" solving this one, because I have already got another puzzle with the same idea. So, this one fulfilled its mission, at least for me. Without solving similar puzzles, the provided difficulty would be too much for you if this is your first puzzle of the kind.
Quite difficult as it involves a magnetic catch. Mine is quite stiff and hard to dislodge, most people I've handed this to can't figure it out.
