This puzzle was designed by Junichi Yananose. It is a six piece puzzle that is an interesting variation of the traditional burr puzzle. Not extremely difficult to solve, but has a very satisfying solution.

I also had trouble getting the puzzle apart. My suspicion is that it was assembled before the finish was fully dry. I used a single edged razor blade in the cracks to coax it apart. Not too difficult a puzzle, but enjoyable and attractive.

My puzzle wouldn't come apart, I first thought it was part of the puzzle (since all pieces are inter-locked), so I searched for the solution. In the solution the puzzle came apart with no use of force whatsoever, I had to split my pieces using a hammer and very careful force. Once taken apart, most pieces were slightly damaged because they were almost "glued" together. I still had a lot of fun trying to figure out how to build it back, but it was somewhat easy, given the struggle for deconstructing it.
